Dr. Daniel Lemons
Dr. Lemons is the CEO at GEM Institute. He has had a long and successful career in the higher education field. He has held many positions at CCNY and CUNY including; Senior Advisor to the President for Undergraduate Studies at City College of New York, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs & Provost (Acting) at The City College of New York, Dean of Science at The City College of New York, and Associate Provost and Dean for Doctoral Sciences at The Graduate Center of CUNY.

 

Daniel Gregory
Mr. Gregory is the Chairman of the Board at GEM Institute. He has 28 years experience in the power systems field. He is a member of the Clinton Global Initiative and an adjunct Professor for Smart Grid and SCADA courses for the Master of Science in Electric Power Systems Engineering degree program at NC State University. He is a member of IEEE and CIGRE.

 

Hillary Brown
Professor Brown, FAIA, is GEM Working Group Chair. She is an architect and Principal of New Civic Works, specializing in greening public works, and is faculty for the City College of New York’s sustainability masters program. She serves on the National Academies Board of Infrastructure and the Constructed Environment.

 

Miriam Ward
Ms. Ward is an analyst for GEM Institute. She was trained in Architecture through Columbia and in Sustainability through CCNY. She specializes in research and development for sustainable initiatives.
